Many times, making strange faces or gestures during the game will confuse the other players, and they may be tempted to call and raise, if they think that you have a bad hand, when actually you have a good one. This will lead to you winning money.

This is why, the art of body language is the second most important step in mastering the poker game, after first learning the basic rules of course.
Try working on a body and face “disguise” so that you can trick the other players to think that as a new player your body will show all. Then you will be the winner, after making them believe you are showing your actual emotions. Having a so-called good poker face is essential for a successful player.
