WHO IS WHO ON THE BLACKJACK HALL OF FAME?

Ever since it was established back in 2003, the Black Jack Hall of fame now is made up of 11 members, who have left their marks on Black Jack tables and in history.
One of the first member inducted in the Hall of fame of Blackjack is Edward Thorp, who created and published the first card counting system. Being a mathematician as well as an excellent professional player, he is also known as the “Father of Card Counting”.
Thorp invented and perfected the ten-count system, about which he even published a book in 1962, which was a winning blackjack system and was the first to be able to beat any casino game. It placed the beginning to all current casino gambling card counting system.
Ken Ustan another member of the Blackjack Hall of Fame wrote and published “The Big Player”, in which he revealed the secrets and his views on the big card counting teams. The book was an instant success and led to the establishment of various counting teams across the world. Ustan died back in 1987. He had based his bestselling book on Al Francesca, another member of the Hall of Fame, how is considered the inventor of team play in Blackjack.
Another mathematician, Peter Griffin was the first to manage to break the counting system in two parts: the Betting correlation and the Playing Efficiency. He described this in his book “The theory of Blackjack”, and through this revolutionary development, also managed to find his place in Blackjack’s Hall of fame.

One man, also known as the Godfather of blackjack was inducted in the Hall of Fame. His name is Stanford Wong, and he gave the name to the famous “Wonging” counting technique, with which he managed to beat the shuffle machines in casinos in Vegas, which was why they needed to be removed and updated.
Another one of the members of the Blackjack Hall of Fame also published his works and theories on Blackjack, and was the first to introduce the key factor of penetration and its importance to the game. His name is Arnold Shnyder.

Another legendary figure of the Blackjack Hall of Fame is Tommy Hyland, who began playing early in his college years, and eventually became the leader of the most successful and long-lasting Blackjack team in history. Although he is loved by his colleagues, Hyland is hated by casino owners because of his winning team, which has been reigning for more than 25 years.

Keith Taft who together with his son Marty are an unbeatable team ever since Jounius has been in high school is also a member of the Hall of fame. He invented various blackjack gadgets to aid the winning process. He was inducted in the Hall of Fame in 2004.

Another player and publisher of a Blackjack classic: “Comp city” is Max Rubin was accepted in the Hall of Fame in 2004. He developed a strategy for beating at Blackjack without even counting the cards.

In 2005, the Hall of Fame invited two other members: Julian Brown a software specialist from IBM, he was fascinated by mathematical models of Blackjack. He worked on improving the original blackjack program, and created the Hi-Opt blackjack and Hi-Lo strategies – now a basis for the works of other experts.
The other member inducted in 2005 was Lawrence Rever, the man considered to have brought Blackjack to the level of the average player by creating two simple and easy to understand colored and coded cards.
“Beyond Counting” is also viewed as the bible for Blackjack, its author James Grosjean was inducted in the Hall of Fame of Blackjack in 2006, and even though he was followed and wrongfully arrested because of using his absolutely legal game tactics, he managed to prove himself innocent and set a precedent for other professional gamblers who have problems with the Casinos.
